Summer conference was held on August 27 from 1:00pm to 4:20pm at Toronto. The location is QGI College located at Suite 702, 2 Lansing Square (Union Building), Toronto. It is at the intersection of Victoria Park and Shepperd. There will be various Leaders from Food Industry, Government Agencies, Food Packaging and other Asscoiated Industry, and Retail industries to join us. CCAFIP successfully held a "Career Access to Canadian Food Industry & Workshop" on Jan 22, 2005. Ms. Yingying Chen, Ms. Di Wang, Dr. Cumming, Dr. Riley, Mr. Jian Liu, Mr. Alfred Yu, Dr. Yao, and Ms. Lynn Beechey gave excellent presentations covered all areas of food industry trend and job searching skills.
CCAFIP is working on various industry, professional, and community promotion programs. They will include mentorship program, Food Industry Basic Skill Training program, and Food Industry Market Development Programs for both North American company to develop local Chinese market and Chinese company to develop North American market.
